Concreting Machines and Equipment

Fairport manufactures an extensive range of Concreting equipment in the Sheffield factory. The variety of types, sizes and price points available makes this range suitable for all types of businesses from hire to contractors to general builders.

The equipment guarantees high quality concreting jobs with minimal effort; First the range of pokers get the air out, then the screeding machines do all the leveling. The hand tools are perfect for initial floating of wide slabs and the power trowels are used for the final hard wearing finish.

Water Pumps

The flexible shaft driven pump uses the same power unit as flexible shaft pokers. The hydraulic pump can be powered by a breaker power pack or plant hydraulic PTO. Both of these units increase utilisation of power packs and give greater reliability as the engines can be positioned safely away from any wet area.

The electric pumps give the ease of use that comes from a single unit for situations where electricity is available from the mains or a generator.

The “Goodenough” range of centrifugal pumps gives the performance required for constant pumping of large quantities. Available with 2″, 3″, 4″ and 6″ outlets, these pumps can handle some solids without damage or clogging so “dirty/polluted” water can be pumped.

Plate Compactors and Compaction Equipment

Fairport manufactures an extensive range of plate compactors in the Sheffield factory. The various types and sizes available guarantees a perfect plate for all customer requirements. Some have additional features like Low Hand Arm Vibration (HAVs) and protective engine frames for the most demanding of site conditions and extended working periods. Others are lighter weight for increased manoeuvrability, easier handling and smaller compaction areas. Many of the plate compactors are available with options including water tanks and spray bars for asphalt work or pads for compaction of block paving.

Other compaction equipment supplied by Fairport gives customers direct availability of all the compaction equipment they need. Rammers are the preferred equipment for the compaction of trenches. Rollers are ideal for sub-base and asphalt compaction of larger areas. The petrol and diesel engineered Reversible plate compactors give high impact compressive force for maximum compaction of all materials.

Hydraulic Power Packs and Breakers

Fairport has manufactured power packs and breakers for many years, and has earned an impressive reputation for reliability and performance. These packs and breakers have now been re-engineered for modern demands including greater economy and lower hand arm vibrations.
