Some have additional features like Low Hand Arm Vibration (HAVs) and protective engine frames for the most demanding of site conditions and extended working periods. Others are lighter weight for increased manoeuvrability, easier handling and smaller compaction areas. Many of the plate compactors are available with options including water tanks and spray bars for asphalt work or pads for compaction of block paving.

Water Pumps
Fairport pumps are built for reliability and performance.
The flexible shaft driven pump uses the same power unit as flexible shaft pokers. The hydraulic pump can be powered by a breaker power pack or plant hydraulic PTO. Both of these units increase utilisation of power packs and give greater reliability as the engines can be positioned safely away from any wet area.
The electric pumps give the ease of use that comes from a single unit for situations where electricity is available from the mains or a generator.
