A Fantastic Kent County Show 2024

The Kellands team had a great Kent County Show 2024. This yearly event, which took place at the Kent Showground in Detling from July 5th to 7th, gave us a great chance to meet new and existing customers from the area and a fantastic opportunity to showcase some of our leading machines.

The Kent County Show continues to be a major event on our calendar. With a wide variety of exhibitors, sights and activities, it’s a fantastic family day out. Meeting so many existing and potential new customers was a pleasure.

As always, the Kellands stand was jam packed with the latest and best machines we have to offer, featuring machines from Develon, Avant, Merlo and Fairport. We got the opportunity to talk with many of the guests about their needs and how we could help. Seeing such a high level of interest in our offerings and hearing great comments from both new and returning customers was inspiring.

The following are a few interesting facts about the Kent County Show:

  • Being one of the oldest agricultural events in the UK, the Kent County Show dates back to 1923.
  • The fair, which highlights the best of Kent’s agriculture, countryside, and local produce, draws more than 80,000 visitors annually.
  • More than 400 commercial booths selling anything from home goods and crafts to regional food and beverages are present.
  • The event showcases the rich agricultural legacy of the area by showcasing a wide range of livestock competitions, including those involving cattle, sheep, goats and pigs.
  • Main ring attractions for visitors include dog agility demonstrations, show jumping, and parades of vintage vehicles.

The event showcased a remarkable array of entertainment and events. There was entertainment for all ages, from the main ring shows to interactive exhibits. We also had a great sample of local Kentish produce from the food and drink stalls, which is always a must.
